HACKERS (SCRIPT KIDDIES)
1) Obtaining large amounts of money very quickly from Zynga.
2) Being able to obtain items and clothes that are not released.
3) Being able to see how many coins and how much Yocash you have, (without being able to get it).
If you are aware of any of these things, report the person immediately, or take screenshots and inform Zynga via a ticket here.
However, if you think you have been Hacked:
Zynga regularly go through and delete the scammer accounts that profit from hacks, but they don’t have a way to give everybody back the coins or item(s) that were lost. Please read Zynga's Terms of Service
Please make sure you do the following to secure your account in the future:
1. Clear your Cache.
2. Uninstall Java completely, and then re-install the latest version of Java.
3. Change the password to your e-mail account, and then change the password to your Myspace or Facebook account.
Also, you may have alternative email addresses associated with your profile that could compromise the account:
• On Facebook:
o From the Account drop down menu, choose Account
Settings. Go to the Contact Email section and click the Change option to
view all of your addresses. Check the list for any unusual addresses.
Please remove any that you do not recognize.
• On Myspace:
o Under My Account, check the email address section
for any unusual addresses. Please remove any that you do not recognize.
If you don't have access to your account, please contact MySpace or Facebook to help retrieve your information.
IP Logging
Zynga have recently implemented new security features in an effort to provide a safer gaming experience. If you receive a message stating that your IP is being logged, and you are not engaging in any questionable activity, there is no need to worry. Remember, this feature is for your protection.
Zynga Impersonators
Any person claiming to be a moderator, developer or creator of YoVille without a gold badge next to their name needs to be reported, immediately.
YoVille is a game developed by Zynga, Inc. and all official developers, moderators and creators are employees of that company.
Gold Badges are the only official badge of an Administrator. If someone claims to be an administrator and has funky hair color, unreleased items, claims to be able to give you free items or seems suspicious, make sure to take screen shots and report them to Zynga Support. Include their player name.
Remember: Only players with gold badges next to their name are official employees of Zynga, Inc.
